La signora alla reception gentilissima.|Per il resto arredamento vecchio, rotto, trascurato e pulizia pessima. In bagno c'era la polvere alta sulle mensole e lo specchio era disgustosamente pieno di schizzi di dentifricio. In camera le poltroncine erano visibilmente sporche.

Pulizia e posizione ok. Solo due cose a parer mio negative: la prima il letto, mi è sembrato di aver dormito sopra delle tavole di legno, al mattino mi è sembrato come se mi avessero preso a bastonate.La seconda è che le camere erano fredde, i termosifoni erano appena tiepidi (mi sono dovuto scaldare con il phono), e la doccia il primo giorno l'acqua calda veniva a intermittenza, e il secondo giorno l'ho fatta completamente fredda.(E adesso non mi venga risposto che potevo chiamare la responsabile, perché la doccia l'ho fatta alle 8 e alle 9:15 avevo il treno).

Excellent customer service. They were so helpful. It was such a challenge for me to give directions to my 80 year old dad but with their help everything was a breeze. I am very thankful for your help, care and concern.

Due to train delays I spent the night in Verona. I booked this apartment whilst on the train from Munich. Everything went well, the room was fine and the people friendly and helpful. The only problem was with booking.com who sent me a misleading message. Best to contact Cittadella directly.

I was pleasantly surprised with this location. Better than the pictures/descriptions. Good coffee bar/water station. Large spacious rooms. 2 shared bathrooms with standing showers. Safe and comfortable.

Fair/decent wifi.
Busy/noisy street beneath the location.
Walkable to most major attractions and locations.

Perhaps it was an off day or a language barrier, a warmer welcome from staff could have been nice. Cleaning staff in the day time doesn’t hesitate to listen to music loudly or enjoy speaker phone calls at their own volume choice.

Had a fantastic stay at this hotel. In an excellent part of Verona. The lady at the hotel was very hospitable and left chocolates and sweets in our bedroom. It was a huge room for the price! Felt more like a four star hotel rather than a two. The room was clean and tidy and I was very happy with my stay here.

She also offered us maps etc, very hospitable as I said, would happily stay here again in future. 🙂

My friend and I booked the only ensuite room we could find on Expedia. We arranged for the check-in at 2pm, when we arrived the room was not ensuite and we had to share 2 bathrooms with 4 rooms. While asking to get the ensuite,we heard moaning from one room, and there was one creepy male customer hanging out in the corridor, which as 2 females in their 30s we didn't feel comfortable with. Mind me ,if we had got our own bathroom we wouldn't have cared.|The ensuite room was not available, so we wanted to cancel. The policy on Expedia was free cancellation before 12pm, and after that it was up to the property. The staff was very kind and understanding, she tried to call the manager who didn't want to hear about it and didn't want to refound anything. I don't know what happened to our booking as I'm 200% sure I booked the right room,maybe a technical issue. Either way there was no way we would stay there. |Extremely disappointed by the management because the location was great and the hotel looked clean.

I booked this accommodation after reading positive reviews about the place and mainly for the location which is in a very convenient central position. I was doing the Verona half marathon which started literally a few minutes walk from where the B&B is situated so the position was ideal. Also, the initial price comparison was competitive (or so I thought). In this regards it is good to note that even though in the reservation details it was listed that there would be the city tax and service charge these were not included in the initial price so when someone initially compares where to stay based on the prices, the price given is without the tax and service charge so the initial comparison isn't exact.|When I made the booking I had advised that given that my flight was on late afternoon (on a Friday) I was going to arrive between 7-9pm. While I was on my way I receive a message from the B&B to see when I would arrive and I informed them that I was going to arrive between 7:30-8:30pm. I couldn’t be precise because there had been an accident on the motorway and there was a lot of traffic. I arrive at 8:05pm only to find noone to open me. I had to call the B&B and they told me that since I arrived after 8pm there wasn’t going to be anyone to open! After I debated with the person I was speaking to (he didn’t even say who he was) that I had advised them about the time that I was going to arrive he said that it was their policy not to wait after 8pm. Anyway he gave me a code which I could use to go in and was later sent a message that the next day (Saturday) I had to wait till 9:30am so that I could affect the check-in. I waited till 10:45am the next day but noone arrived. Then I find a note on Sunday evening that I had to check out on Monday morning and the time that was written was after I had to leave! During my stay I never met anyone at the B&B except other guests!|Apart from this the B&B is very clean and in order. Bathroom was shared but I always found it clean.||Since I stayed only for 4 days and was going to race the half marathon on Sunday I didn’t travel much, however I did catch the bus a few times and one must note that the train and bus station are closeby and quite efficient.
